Remembered.

Hello there.
Seventeen year-old Leonie speaking here.
Saying a big hello to the world!

Sixteen year-old me was sent off with the company of her awesome friends,
and the family members.
Those memories shall always linger in me though.

To all that have made my birthday in my last year as a high school student so awesome,
I sincerely thank you all.

I wouldn't be who I am now without you guys.

A detailed entry expressing how thankful I am should be up soon.

I really want everyone to know that I appreciate every single thing that's done for me.

And heck,
it serves as a reminder that I am loved and cared for who I am.
By so many people.

Good enough reason to put that smile on my face.

Pre-Seventeen.

There's just something in me,
that is not looking forward to my birthday.
Not one bit.

These few days of school had been tough.
I just could not contain my frustrations and worries to myself,
and I made a lot of people around me unhappy.
I sincerely apologise.

I just hope that my current behaviour can still be tolerated.
Everybody have these moments.
I'm quite sure I'm entitled to have these rights as any of you.

All because I'm human.
We're all human.
We all succumb to emotions at times.

As of 5.30PM tomorrow,
I'll be officially seventeen.

It's just too bad that the older I'm getting,
I seem to get more childish,
instead of more sensible.

And the older I get,
it also means I have more responsibilities.
Higher expectations on me.
The closer I get to ending high school.

I don't wish for much this coming birthday of mine.

I just hope for my family to be happy, healthy and safe.

I wish for my friends to stay awesome and hopefully,
stay friends with me.

I want to have awesome time management skills,
and to stop procrastinating.
And yes, to not be distracted too easily.
Grant me these,
and I'm pretty much halfway done to being a better person already.

In my prayers,
bless me to be a good daughter,
a good friend,
and a good Samaritan.

Goodbye, sixteen-year old me.
It sure hadn't been sweet all the way,
but you taught me a lot for the past year.

Helloooooo seventeen.

I'd Come Back, Sir.

Mr. Brocklehurst:
And what is hell? Can you tell me that?

Young Jane:
A pit full of fire.

Mr. Brocklehurst:
And should you like to fall into that pit,
and to be burning there forever?

Young Jane:
No sir.

Mr. Brocklehurst:
What must you do to avoid it?

Young Jane:
Keep well and not die, sir.

Young Jane is certainly a handful, and I admire her for that.

I have En. Ismail to thank for,
for I had just finished the whole movie.

Time to search for the book.

Hello there! You must have guessed by now – this is Leonie here, and I have no intention of boring you out with a long introduction of yours truly.

I have to admit though – I’m quite an interesting individual; those who know me can confirm that, and those who don’t…I don’t mean to brag, but you’re definitely missing out!

Feel free to click here to get to know me a little bit better! No worries, I’m very friendly and I won’t bite!
