Miss Green Cheese.

You're looking at her, people! XD

The wonderful, one of a kind mamacita, Geetha aka Miss Green Cheese 2008,
since the oh-so-nice you dedicated a post to me on your blog,
I'll do just the same ;)

The Girlina.

Quoting her, "I got the brain and the power." And true indeed. Let's not forget to add awesome editing skills, the looks to go with it, how photogenic she is, how funny and humourous she is, and what a great friend too =)

She is also the fabulous lady all set and ready to work her magic in creating the fantastic unique and never to be created again like the same, the marvellous exclusive Green Cheese. I can't wait for us to get the duckets rolling in for our fantabulous project, and it'll definitely be SPLENDID XD

Here's the rad genius's entry on yours truly X)

For the whole entry, please visit Miss Green Cheese 2008's interesting and tan coolio blog :)

Proof that this was from her blog : Look at that wonderful profile picture on the right side of the picture aye XD

She honoured my link hokay. And she awarded me that title just recently, I swear I didn't force her to do that XD Anyway, I now officially announce Miss Geetha as Miss Green Cheese 2008, and this title would not be eligible for any other except hers truly X]

Frankly, believe it or not, I had YET to meet this talented human face-to-face! XD But that definitely would happen after PMR, I'll make sure that happens, boo yeah! XDD

And that time, we shall go picture-taking together, cos since you're photogenic and I'm not so, your photogenic-ness would be passed on a little to me in our future shots, so there X)

And sure thing you can call me Leo =) But only I can call you Green Cheese, remember that well ;D

Ending this post,

I love this girl and I just can't wait to see her! ;DD

Note : All pictures of Geetha aka Miss Green Cheese 2008 is solely copyrighted under this pretty brainiac and no stealing, copying or plagiarizing of any sort without the girlina's permission, or you shall suffer from the consequences, muahahahahah XD

EDIT.

As the PHOTOGENIC glamourita had made some changes to her post, I feel that I have a need to do the same.

Refer to the picture below, with much pleases from me XD

From the same fabulous mamacita's blog, and I had highlighted some major issues that this girlina brought up.

Basically, you have to click on the picture for a better view, and just to inform you of the colour coding that I had used, red means totally too much flattery was given to me, and should be describing hers truly instead, heh X) Green means you have to pay real attention on the sentence(s) I had highlighted =D Yellow which I had only used for one specific sentence means that it's the total truth and everybody should believe it ;D

And you're being very funny Green Cheese. Why would you ruin any picture? You look fabbie poo, hokay? And I should be directing that to you, Miss PHOTOGENIC. See how much I stress on the word PHOTOGENIC? XDD

International Understanding Indeed!

After Naomi Mentzer aka Le Nutcase fou aka Humid the Nutcase had constantly gave me reminders on my delayed entries on IU Days, and just about my other postponed entries as well, lol, so in this update I'm combining all four of the other Interact-related events that I had attended earlier in the year.

We'll start off by chronological order, yes?

The Tebrau River Clean-Up, (Saturday, 10th of May 2008)

And yes, I feel the effects of procrastinating blog entries already.

I can hardly remember a great damn freaking thing.

Only have myself to blame.

But anyway, I guess the pictures will be doing most of the talking here, so bear with me, and spare me please.

So, for all I know, I remember I was delighted I didn't had to wake up that early, since Miss Nav told me to NOT be there too early, because the place was really too close to my house and I wasn't going to follow the rest of the students from school there, so yearh, I zzz-ed all the way, took my own sweet time indeed, and was still the EARLIEST despite being five minutes late from the due time Miss Nav had set. Thank gooseness for Guppy who came along not long after, we waited for a whole good ten minutes or so before the bus with la gente from SIGS and SAB arrived, and they shared a bus, yes.

So, met up with Najwa and Veena and the day started off with some speeches that frankly, I did not bother listening as I really couldn't hear a thing from the mike at all.

And with that, Guppy, Najwa and I resorted to some picture-taking as memorabilia.

Well, you can't exactly blame us, like, every other school there was also doing the exact same thing while the speeches were going on? Seriously, somebody should have gone checked the mike before they started the whole ceremony.

After all that, the event was officiated by Miss Singapore 2008, Miss Jessica Tan by planting some mangrove trees apparently.

Then, the participants aka us students were given mudballs and some sort of sulphuric acid to encourage the growth of good bacteria to be thrown or poured into the river.

Example of thrown mudballs. Modelled by Your Royal Hawtness XD And pointed to by Xumid (note that finger there.)

And featuring them =)

Some random snapshots there.

And so, we started getting to work..

Yes, I'm not only a rubbish dumpster, but also a bag rack. How ah-mazing was that. Lol. Thank Guppy for being there with me XD And that's Evonne with the cheesy smile XDD

I spot Ezzati and Hazrina! ;)

Adam Ho! I still haven't get back at you for the candids you took of me! Grrrr..XD

And this would be Joanne X)

..and did more work..

..and had some fun maybe for some at the same time..

..till the very much awaited and anticipated result =D

Right! Most of the photo credits above goes to Najwa Hunny alrighty! She took my camera and went off snapping pictures while I was holding the big plastic bag with Guppy for everybody to dump their findings in. Oh well, I was considered lucky already to be left out of much of the work, so yearh, no complaints about that XD

Next off, all of the third formers that came started on our assignments - to interview the VIPs that were present and ask them what they think about the event, ways to conserve and preserve the environment more, etc.

So, started off with Miss Jessica Tan of Singapore and Miss Adelaine Chin of Malaysia. They are ultra friendly people, really. Lol. Like, I was the only one talking and interviewing them! As Veena had happily chosen me to be the main journalist of the day, what to do but find some guts and start opening what used to be that boca grande of mine XD

MOI in action! XD And that's Veena holding the phone as a recorder in case I missed out anything and Evonne.

Coming up, the group pictures of everybody I we interviewed together X]

I swear, by the last picture, my face muscles are all sore from all that smiling and posing. And don't ask me why I look so goody-goody two shoes in all those pictures. I myself have no idea.

Now, featuring the two special people we had met:

This would be Uncle Sir. He helped us a lot to find the VIPs we needed to interview and stayed by our side all that time, giving us all the support, guts and that much needed sense of humour after all that running around and chasing after major people. Phew! And with that I shall always salute to him XD Wonder if I'll ever see him again? Hmmmm..

And this would be Cheryl's cousin. She was really friendly, and she revealed to us Uncle Sir's real name after much persuasion which really did not work at all, hahah. I think there's more chance of seeing her after this then the mysterious Uncle Sir XDD

Candid of the day! ;)

"To the left, to the left." XD

And the random POSEURS! =D

POUT POWER, BAY-BEH! XDD

Note : Whoever that has the picture of me tearing away Princess Flavia away from Rudolf Rassendyll, do me a favour and upload it into my Friendster album for me, so I can well feature it here ;D

To end this section of the entry,

The very exhausted but satisfied me! ;)

SAB IU Day 2008 (Saturday, 5th of July 2008)

So, the theme was Going Dutch and I went, saw and came back alive of course. Not much to say yet, so..

Can't do without the main pictures, can we?

The very nice backdrop. No kidding, must had taken ages to do something like that. Salutes to whoever that worked their arses off to make that backdrop look that ah-mazing indeed!

Unity is the key of harmony. YEARH RIGHT.

I know I didn't pay any attention to the speeches or the slideshow at all =x For one, I was busy kicking Veena the Pootna's chair so she'll get annoyed. Heh. I have nothing better to do. LOL. While during the slideshow, I think Alvin Sanjay and I were busy commenting about how horrid the fan management is. And giving Alvin John all sorts of face expressions while he retaliates back with his. Heh.

And of course, can't miss out not taking any pictures with my camwhoring HAWTNESSITY of a husband, yes? X]

Note : I did not take pictures with her because I can't resist her HAWTNESS aye, it's all for the memories, lol. Besides, we were bored too XD

Overall, it was an okay event, but if I really have to say anything, well..It had already been said by the rest who are present, but I think I'll say it in a more formal way. Or of the sort.

All I can say is that the IU can be more of a success if it wasn't because of organization factor that kinda messed everything up. Even the IU Director have no idea why the sudden addition of the totally rude performance as nobody actually notified her about it. And this IU Director would be my friend Kasturi. Sigh. All over now, but yeah, managed to meet up with friends, and had fun, and had something happened to me which kinda affected me but I'm so putting it behind me now, and yeah, didn't regret not going =)

Other highlights of the event : Mr Flintstone and the crazy three-timed encore for Wesley. Bravo indeed.

And a major confrontation happened.

Correction. TWO major confrontations happened.

Only one of you knows both.

Some of you know one of them.

The rest, you'll just have to wonder.

To end this part of the entry,

Showing off my Kodomo teeth with the posse that day XD

Interact Leadership Training Seminar (Saturday, 19th of July 2008)

ILTS. It's our turn for this year.

Came to school and was assigned to arrange all the tables and chairs in SEVEN classes if I'm not mistaken. So, for an entire hour and a half, almost the whole BOD was still nowhere near done, and the Interactors from the other schools are already done registering and are already waiting in the hall. Yikers.

In any case, we survived, managed to throw in and clean up everything in place thanks to everybody that helped ;)

So, the day started with speeches. Well, which Interact activity can go on without any inspiring speeches really =)

The two clowns of the day, and will always be to me, LOL.

Then, we had this game, where all the participants' nametags are distributed to random Interactors, and within the given time limit find the Interactor with our own respective nametags and retrieve it of course. But then, there has to be a catch definitely. To get your nametag, you'll have to introduce yourself. Yearh. A Lower Six Interactor from EC got mine, while I was having Vanessa Ho's from Convent.

And that's where we were separated into groups according to our 2008/2009 posts, and the IU Directors were under Mr Elendran.

Had two fruitful sessions. I have only my boca grande to blame as I just told all the incoming IU Directors and Mr Elendran himself the reason why SIGS NEVER have an IU Day. But he was pretty helpful. And that's how four hours were spent, phew. Truth to be told, I felt really uncomfortable with all of them as I tried being friendly, but I didn't had much response, so I just stopped there. So far, I only managed to get along with SDJ's incoming IU Director, at least that's a start. Thanks man =)

Next, we had part two of the games, which were the dress-up game. Seriously, I have no idea what was on for the games. Ended up in the same group as Dhaya from SDJ, she's the one who taught me the dance steps then, I know her name at last! =D

And, we dressed up the bride and groom of our group pretty nicely X)

And that's the very smiley and sporting Sarah from SSI! She used to be in SKST too if I'm not mistaken, lol.

The happily wedded couple of our group, hahah.

Now, presenting, the very interesting and unique indeed runway featuring the just married couples of the day XD

Note : First pictures are during the presentation, second pictures are the final poses ;D

The Malay wedding, I think, though in my opinion the girl looks like a very innocent Snow White of some sort XD

The Prisoner of Zenda and Potato People wedding, featuring Jaslyn from SSI and Aaron from SAB, not forgeeting the fact they're the happy winners of the game too! Well deserved indeed =D

The Superhero Wedding! Guppy's group (:

Another Malay wedding? I think, AGAIN. LOL.

Moving on to the clowns' presentation, and they're among my most favourites, really XD

Alvin Sanjay's. Glamourous rock n' roll wedding was the theme I think.

What made IT interesting and different from the rest : His suit split! XDD

The transsexual wedding, featuring Alvin John. Har Har Har XD

What made IT interesting and different from the rest : Wacko boobs + out of the world face expression = PRICELESS. XDDD

They got second by the way =D

Oh yeah, if you were wondering where's the couple from my group, I was up on the stage presenting and explaining the concept of how a Chintern wedding is done. (Chinese-Western wedding, get it?) LOL. I made that up on the last minute and since every group had to send out a representative to explain the creations up there, I was up and Mr Jason Tan was giving me a very WEIRD look, and I pretty much almost froze up there. But hey, still alive and typing out this blog post XD

At the end of the whole event,

The must-have group photo ;)

And to finish this up, featuring the best snapshots of the day.

Clown I and Clown II looking exhausted at last. Heh.

SCANDAL SIOT!!! WOOT! XDD

Stars of the Day! X)

SSI IU Day (Saturday, 26th of July 2008)

Hai, minna-san! The theme was Japan and it was an IU + Installation too. Will keep this sweet and short.

After school, Naomi and I walked over to Najwa's Saujana house to get all dressed up yeah right for IU later on. Thanks to Najwa and her mum for the willingness to put up with me and send me over there too =)

Day started with some problems - mainly the dress code and the tickets. But solved in a matter of time.

Obviously, you know how a IU should go already right? So I'll skip a lot of details and go straight to the point(s). Heh.

After the speeches and the Installation, there was this traditional dance by the incoming BOD.

As shown here in their final pose XD

And there was this Powerpoint presentation too, pretty well done, but some of the terms are seriously not correctly used. Heh.

Now, the rest of the performances!

The band performance. They weren't too bad =)

The solo singer. Her voice is fantastic. Seriously. Naomi even thought she might be lip-syncing because she was so good. Lol.

The violin and keyboard instrumentals. Pretty good. But also pretty interrupted.

Another solo singer. Average performance. Heh.

The J-pop performance, which I did not watch. I just snapped this before going out. If you get what I mean.

Talk walk think laugh joke fool around.

Cautiously with fear yet glad and happy.

And the food was absoulutely WONDERFUL! You can ask the rest that went, really! XD

And to FINALLY complete this entire entry! (This took me four days to complete, no lie!)

The niceness that were there to accompany the truly unbearable MOI! XD

For more info, go to Najwa's and Naomi's blogs for more detailed info aye? Links are at the beginning of this entry and at the links right there =)

Picture credits to Najwa too :)

Hope you guys enjoyed the very much delayed post(s)!

Especially NAOMI MENTZER ;D

Till the next, xoxo~ XD
