The Unknown.

Hello readers.

It's been more than a week since I last blogged, but surprisingly emotions had been kept pretty intact without a sudden outburst of sadness and insanity. This I thank the weekly journal writing that had been made compulsory for English lessons in SIGS. At least there's a place to rant concisely without having to go online.

Homework is currently accumulated to the fact that if I don't get started on it during the weekend, I'm most likely screwed for the week.

Teachers had been alright. I mean, we're treated as though we're quite grown-up already, though there's the occasional lecture here and there about our standards and duties of scoring straight A+ for SPM 2010. Yes, the school expects my classmates and me to score 95 and above for all the 10 subjects we're taking. That I kid you not.

Who wouldn't want grades like that?

But honestly, we're not perfect. And I think we work better at our own respective paces. We don't need the extra pressure and stress. We know our responsibilities.

Note that I'm not polluting the name of my school, I'm just stating opinions.

The sentence above was typed as it's now an official school rule that harming the school's image is against the school rules.

I don't want to get punished for stating my humble opinions. I don't deserve it. So there.

Taking personality and apparent love-related quizzes with the classmates was awesome.

Impersonating Miss Ris Low, won't ever get old.

Dancing and talking at the top of your voices with friends, major stress-reliever.

Singing in different keys hoping for more rain so that sport's practice would be less movement and more talking, is humourously entertaining.

Staring at the cracks on the ceiling with Azri, is pretty amusing when you're all tired and exhausted.

Making sushi and miso soup next Tuesday.

School with its usual chaos everyday.

Homework haunts me by the count of every second.

Friends,
we got to stand strong.
Just one more year.

One more hectic year of bittersweet high school memories.

A blessing in disguise?
You decide.

Shush!

Project 365 will be on hold for the time being.
I blame schoolwork and tuition work.

But the next time I update my Photoblog,
you can expect better quality pictures.
Less noise, clearer images.

This I thank my awesome green darling.

Yes.
My darling is a her.
And I'm deeply, truly and madly in love with her.
No doubt about that.

Go Green!

Green.
The colour of jealousy and envy.
but also of rebirth and growth.
-Green, ©miss-crowhurst.-

Attendance for Green House today sucked. Real bad.

I won't deny it, but I was actually disappointed to see just the few familiar faces I know and not a whole crowd of new faces that I can never seem to remember, since I'm hopeless with new faces unless a proper introduction was done.

Still, practice today actually went on quite well.

The weather was awesome, and everything went pretty well.

Like how most of us fifth formers were literally looking like cartoons trying to demonstrate the correct techniques for shot put. I do have an ear okay? (Inside joke.) xD

Our cheer was awesome. Funny how our beloved captain accidentally forgotten the words for one of the cheers halfway. Goodness! We made it up with really really loud cheering that actually sounded like proper team spirit.

No offense to Red House members though. ;)

I am so proud. Really am.

Green has always been with me.

I won't say much about this now, but for now, I'm just glad that this colour is still in my life. And will always be a major part of it.

Green is love.

You Took My Vest.

I AM IN NEED OF SLEEP.

3 hours just ain't enough.

I WISH MY HOMEWORK WOULD MAGICALLY FINISH ITSELF.

All the teachers just expect their work to be handed in the very next day.

I HOPE THAT SCHOOL WOULD BE LESS TIRING.

With so many activities, it's nearly impossible at the start of the year.

I WANT MORE SMILES AND LAUGHTERS WITH THE AWESOME DARLINGS -
FRIENDS.

They're like my oxygen now.
I need them to breathe and live.

Life So Far.

Oh gawd, I feel so darn lethargic right now.

I'm seriously worn out from school. There's not only homework with crazy deadlines to think about, but many other school obligations to consider.

And knowing me, I have the worst time management skills.

If I'm already complaning and moaning about the first week of school, what about the coming weeks when there's sports practises and in due time, extra classes?

Oh yeah, I haven't mentioned that I also have homework from tuition to complete?

Optimism huh. I'm really trying very hard to stay smiley.

Truth is, I'm sleep-deprived and I miss my online life.

I have a sleep debt to settle, and I think I'm falling sick again from being sleep-deprived.

Great, all these in the first week of school. Hurrah.

I need some time to settle down again with school life till I'm more used to the hectic insane times.

Meanwhile, some highlights of yesterday and today:
  • Pn. Shahida looks at me as if I'm able to give her the correct figures for Accounts. :/
  • Mr Tey never fails to make me look bad in class. In a humourous way I guess. And his translation from English to Malay is not all that great either. xD
  • En. Ismail is an AWESOME English teacher! I salute to him for his amazing pronunciation and spelling. His lesson on celebrities was really interesting! I look forward to English lessons now again, thanks to him. (:
  • Pn. Lakhsmi is teaching us Maths, as usual. Glad to have her actually! And it was shocking to have her tell me to write smaller for my workings in the modules, or they won't fit. Lol.
  • Pn. Gan is another AWESOME teacher! She tells us all these facts that makes the lesson a whole lot more interesting! I really hope she and En. Ismail will continue teaching us till the day SPM comes.
  • Add. Maths with Pn. Adilah is fine. She's optimistic about the subject, and she was grumbling about how tired and hungry she was. Like the rest of us. Hahah!
Might not update this space for some time, 'cos I really need to get started on homework, tuition work, and school obligations.

Cheers!

Monday 4 January 2010
3/3/4.

First day of school, which is also my last in this high school, had officially ended.

5.30AM.
Woke up in good time because I was excited/nervous for school. Managed to watch some cartoons before I left the house at 6.30AM. As per usual.

7.10AM.
I was nearly late for assembly because of a massive traffic congestion near my school. I was lucky because there wasn’t a Pn. Azalina to get all sarcastic at me for being an irresponsible prefect that couldn’t have come earlier to set a good example to the students and being late for assembly. Technically, I wasn’t late. But please, it’s not like I wanted to be late on purpose.

7.50AM.
Pn. Hjh Norliah was emphasizing on certain school rules, and when she got to the part about no trimming of the eyebrows were allowed, all I could hear after that was my own voice muttering curse words you do not want to know the whole way. Refer to Photoblog for details. And right, the very horrific toilet near the canteen next to the hall – is what the teachers call a five-star toilet. I actually agree.

8.15AM.
After what seemed to be forever, Pn. Hjh Norizah finally ended her speech with another major emphasis on how literally broke the school is and how we as students should be saving electricity and water because the bills can come up to thousands. Just like last year. I’m glad this is the last time I have to hear this particular speech in school.

8.20AM.
Breathed a major sigh of relief after assembly was finally over, since Kothai, Shaline and Darshini were in charge of the flags. The string for the school flag decided to snap just as Miss Low was announcing the names of the students who got straight A’s for PMR last year. She didn’t notice, apparently. Thank goodness for that!

8.21AM.
But then it was time for us to get streamed into our classes. Surprisingly, I was in the first class. And yes, I was expecting to drop. A lot of people think that I’m smart and I’m just being paranoid saying that, but seriously, you guys have no idea.

8.50AM.
We got our timetable and with that, the list of teachers who are teaching which subject till our next timetable. I’m kind of satisfied with the choice of teachers, really. Bet that it won’t stay for long though, knowing that we have a shortage of teachers. Azri is now my seatmate, with Anna the Ballerina and Salmi the Salmon right behind us! I’m really glad that Salmi didn’t move to Kota Tinggi. Would had missed her loads!!

11.05AM.
We had Pn. Gan for Biology, and then instead of Chemistry, Pn. Adilah came in again and taught us Arithmetic Progressions. I am thankful for Mr Yong’s lesson yesterday. After recess, went back to class to see Pn. Norshidah already there.

11.20AM.
And then here’s the lecture from her saying that we should improve our attitudes and all, being 5 Science 1 students, etc. Seriously, this thing about us being in the first class for the Science stream kids, I’ll not miss the lectures when I’m out of high school. I swear.

11.55AM.
Almost all was forgiven when she said that all essays can be handed in to her through email, and when it’s sent back to us, we can print it out and immediately paste it in our book. Oh gawd, the joy!

12.10PM.
Time for Moral. Cik Izyan asked us to memorise the first six moral values out of the 36, with Jia Ying being the official ambassador for nilai toleransi. Inside joke. xD Cik Izyan was surprisingly very lenient and patient with us, for we were busy talking and not at all trying to memorise, till she came over and questioned us - one by one. We were helping each other by mouthing the words and through ridiculously exaggerated hand gestures. Ah, sweet. :D

2.30PM.
Didn’t do much for accounts, but before that Pn. Rozi told us that we have to play caklempong for the first formers’ orientation today. Sweet. Stayed back anyway and we finished the demo by 3.30PM. One hour to rot in the music room.

4.30PM.
Finally went back after hanging out with Ah Yuan, Cassan, Xin Yun and Vivian. Qi Xuan could actually sleep on the music room’s floor. Note: I can’t, so I’m very impressed by those who can. Pn. Rozi was being cute, as usual, she was showing off to us her new wedges, and asked us to compliment them again when we already did so when she came in. Seriously, I am going to miss her cuteness when I leave. Though Ah Yuan and I had already made a deal that we’re going back to school next year to teach the juniors caklempong. Or else poor Rozi would have trouble getting the juniors to perform at the very last minute when the said people aren’t us anymore. It’s different because we are already used to it. Got that?

It was nice to see all my friends again.

Poking Jia Ying, going high with Guppy, and walking to the back of the class to see them. Just like last year.

I see many familiar faces in my class this year. Except for a dear few who went to 5 SC 2. To Aishah Jaafar aka Shasha, Tasha, Farah, Saran, and Eka – your presence is deeply missed by this crazy friend of yours. Thankfully, they’re only next door. Going to pop in any time I could throughout the year. :]

Now, to get started on homework and school obligations.

Cheers!

Green Cheeser! ♥

This post is dedicated to my awesome Green Cheese, Geetha.

Being the slow me, as usual, I just found out that my fellow Green Cheeser is moving to KL! Gawd, I can hit myself on the head repeatedly for being sooo uber blur.

Oh gosh Gee, I'm really sorry. :(

I feel so guilty right now because I didn't get to celebrate your sweet sixteen with you, or hang out with you during the hols. Damn, all because I didn't had transport then.

The next time I go to KL, we'll try to meet up okay? I'll make it up to you Green Cheeser. (':

Fish spa together for the first time with Rica and Hmsha.

First neoprint.

"Always treasured."

I love you Green Cheese.
Do take care in KL,
and don't forget your peeps here in JB okay?
Because you're always remembered,
and already dearly missed!
You'll be fine there,
'cos you're ever so nice. (:

And yes, I'll always remember this creation of ours.
But it's more to yours than mine. ;)

xoxos.

Moonwalker.

Michael Jackson.
You can do no wrong when you're on that stage,
you practically owned it.
Thank you for enlightening me on the issues of the past,
that still goes on till this very decade.
Thank you for your dance moves,
that is yours and yours only,
and will stay that way.
Thank you for the awesome beats and rhythms,
thank you for the love.

I watched MJ's Copenhagen concert on Channel 5 earlier.
His Earth Song never fails to get me all emotional.
I cried.
Heal The World reminded me of 4SC1's Say No To Plastic Bags Campaign last year.
And how we sang on stage together.
I won't ever forget those moments.

God bless the King of Pop.

A Moment in Time.

On the first day of this new decade,
I hereby announce that I'm going to start on Project 365.

No pictures yet,
since I have yet to go out and explore the outside world for the new year.
Just providing the link in advance.
And note that I'm a newbie there,
I have yet to familiarise myself with the settings of Photoblog.
I do humbly ask for the patience of my loyal readers.

I apologise beforehand if the quality in uploaded photos are abominable.
I'm depending on a camera phone that has only 2.0 megapixels,
for the time being before I can get a proper digital camera.
And who knows?
I might just be able to get a DSLR.
Might have to work for it though.

But for now, who cares?
It's my last year of high school,
and it's the memories that counts for 2010.

And The New Decade Starts Like This!

2009 ended with me counting down with Farhan, and with Guppy and Khai.

2010 started off with me missing the fireworks, plans of forming a band named Cri-du-Chat (CDC) that can even knock PCD off the charts, and splitting me three-ways to go witness fireworks in OZ with Terri, counting down in Singapore at some awesome countdown, and to Khai's with Gup to welcome 2011.

The year has just started people! And I'm already booked to three different spots in three different countries! I know I'm so wanted. ;)

Mr Kung would be so proud that Khai, Gup and I are applying what he taught in Biology in our daily lives. Hahah!

And to start off the new year, I'll be having tuition that amounts up to 10 hours all the way till Sunday in anticipating my last year of high school. Sweet.

My eyes are so sore, I can hardly keep them open. To think kor isn't back yet, sheesh. Having too much fun maybe. Lol.

Okay, now comes the headache.

Good morning world, and a very happy 2010 to all my readers!

PS: I'm glad we're okay. Really. (:
