Air-Nine Mini Concert 2007

Yeah, before I move on to my other delayed school posts, here's one on the mini concert that was organised by Air-Nine, where I learn my piano lessons and secretly jam on the drums without Elson knowing XD

So, the concert was held on the 10th of June, instead of holding it in Air-Nine this year like the previous, Elson decided to hold it at the Baptist Church nearby 7-11. Started around 8, eventhough we were asked to reach there before 7. Heh.

Started off with rehearsels, which I totally blew off. Haha. Then the actual performance which started with a jazz tune and ended with Canon in D. Ugh, am I so ashamed of myself. The mistake was seriously noticeable. Whatever. As long as the parents don't notice it I can forget about it. (^^)V

Pictures galore~ once more~

Dengan menumpukan segala perhatian memain laguku dengan penuh dinamik dan perasaan. XD

Band performance no. 1 - Say Yes!

Band no. 2 with How Deep is Your Love. I hope that's the title anyway XD

Camwhoring after our performances with the coolest people in Air-Nine! We rocked the house down, woot~!

Sabrina, AK and Ko~

Bunny-eared Sabrina courtesy of Ko, Ko, Judith, unsuccessful bunny-eared AK courtesy of Ko, Micheal~

Same gang as before and JiaYi the guitarist/bassist~

Japanese tourists tht visited us! Nope, they're my beloved, understanding piano teacher Miss Ng and Sabrina the hyperactive!

The guest guitarist! His guitar solo was awesome~

Sabrina presenting the certificate and trophy to te DiGi guy who works right next to Air-Nine! Seriously, all of us are proud of him XD

This would be Sabrina and her sporting bf! XDD

Miss Ng and Tony!

With our trophies and certificates, Miss Ng and AK~

It was indeed a satisfying night of bonding between the musicians.

PS: I just realized I posted my two previous entries on LiveEarth Day ( 07.07.07) ! How silly of me not to remember it till now~ XD

SIGS Muzikal (D.E.)

Second D.E. of the day. Muzikal was on the 21st of April. Well..I guess there's nothing much to say, since I practically procrastinated on my blog entries and almost forgotten the little details I wanna talk about, so..

Pictures galore~! XD

SashQuarch. Hope it's the right spelling, I have no idea how you exactly spell it anyway. Apologies to the band members and friends who know them. Like they read my blog only so..XD

Nimisha and Anue, hosts of the day. Funny pair, hehe.

Ensemble competiters:

Charlotte 5, and

Fabulous 5.

Soloists (Pardon my spelling please.) :

Farah Diana,

Aini Hussein,

Nurul Nadiah,

Mohd Amirul,

Nurul Aliyah,

Nur Syafikah,

Atiqa.

Battle of the Bands:

The Outsiders,

Bleeding Aura,

The Legacy,

Le Vahsiz,

Fourteen,

The Old School,

Hentam Buta.

All the bands gathered up on stage.

Encore performance by SashQuarch again! Woot, they definitely brought the house, I mean, school down!

The winners of the solo singing comp,
3rd place: Nurul Aliyah (SIGS!)
2nd place: Farah Diana (?)
1st place: Atiqa (SIGS!)

The results of Battle of the Bands:
3rd: The Legacy,
2nd: Le Vahsiz,
1st: Fourteen.

Oh yeah, saw many many many many of Ko's friends and juniors, which was kinda awkward for me cos seeing my bro socialize while I'm sitting there like a 'patung' as what Cik Low likes to say us prefects is really, seriously awkward. And Wanda too but didn't see her dah-ling Damien till the very end of the show. XD Did I mention that they're the most cool couple I had ever met and they're practically a match made in Heaven? Lol. I know I did. (^^)V

Next entry coming up!

SIGS IU Day (D.E.)

Okay. FYI (D.E.) stands for Delayed Entry. Actually, I'm really impatient to blog about previous events that I can hardly remember one bit about but, that's just me. Le Perfectionist.

So, the theme for this year's IU Day was Egypt and we SIGS interacters came extra early to decorate the hall and arrange the chairs and do odd jobs so everything could go on smoothly later on. It was on the 7th of April and that was two days after the debate finals held at Convent and EC won. They deserve it I guess. I just seriously don't agree with the feng shui business. Whatever. But Nadhirah, Sarah and Michelle still did a fantastic job! SIGS is definitely proud of them. =D Okaay, back to the topic. That day also got Sukaneka Tunas Puteri, held in our school. I was supposed to join, but..Oh well. Some things aren't worth mentioning at times.

The pictures says it all.

Before : The preparations.

The Sukaneka going on outside. Actually, maybe it's good luck for me not being selected, or else I really can't help with the preparations and the entire function itself.

One down, a few more to go..? Sigh. T.T
