I terribly and horribly know, I owe many people too many delayed entries.

List of owed updates:

  2. Hari Keusahawanan 1 2008.
  3. Some other random stuff that I can't remember, but I'm quite sure it's about school.
  4. Ah yes, it is now officially certified this blogger has a bad memory indeed.
Well, to Naomi and Michelle, I'll fix your blogs tomorrow or on Thursday =)

To everyone, in return for your undying patience, this blog shall have a new look, again X)

Chickenie Bonnie is Actually a Mousie Minnie

About that rhymie by yours truly title, it's just about the name rhyming war with Buah Nonashuari here.

Just surrender, you shall and would not ever win this battle of verbal manipulation XD

*****

So, I had been caught up with the massive homework load from school, as usual. You are reading a procrastinator's blog here =.=

For the past two weeks Pn Thila asked the debate team to assist Kirat with her public speaking competition.

Like the usual happy couple that loves to skip tuition hikmah, which is the flowery name our school uses to replace the term kelas tambahan or extra classes, Najwa and I just went with the flow with the so-called helping Kirat to edit her script and voice our opinions on her intonation and so forth.

There were some issues, but I'm not mentioning them here.

Anyhow, Kirat got the top place in the zone levels and third for district levels. We were starting to doubt whether she can even get anything at all, considering that all of the speakers are really quite good. So good for her anyways for her hard work well paid off =)

Zone levels at St. Joseph Secondary:

These are the adjudicators for this round. Note : The chief judge happened to be one of the adjudicators for debate! And she remembered us! Therefore, a good impression of SIGS was still stuck in her head XD

And these are the contestants, full picture taken during the prepared script round, close up was during impromptu :

The very first contestant. Her name was Mastura I think? Anyhow she reminds me a lot of Fatin aka Sakura from my school XD Veena has to agree with me on this one ;)

Contestant number two. I think the hunching put the judges off. But he was the only nice guy to adjust the mike for Kirat TWICE for both rounds as she was so damn freaking tall, and the tallest one there too XDD

Number three, we have Eugene. His speech was pretty interesting and humourous. And the topic is really random for me but special and meaningful to him? Please solve this simple equation to get his topic, 7+1+2-5+1-3+4. Or if you're a moron who doesn't even know how to do simple math, it's a Malaysian television channel that used to have, or maybe still do, a line that goes, "I FEEL GOOD~" XD Oh yeah, it's his favourite channel too by the way. Not sure whether it's true or not, but I highly doubt it? Ahahahahahahah.

Next up, this girl whom I thought looked like a teacher I once knew. Wait a minute, is she Mastura or the other girl before? Oh well, can't remember now. Sorry to both contestants for messing up names.

Pn Thila was quite impressed by this guy, Rahmat. I can see he's a smooth talker, and he got some of the girls in the room smitten with him, including a certain somebody who happens to like the guy at the registration table too XD

Jeremy Chew. At first I was wondering why the heck did he look so bloody familiar, till I came to know that he was from SKST, and was in the same year as me! Gosh, what a bad memory I have. Hunny Bunny was head over heels in love with him! And to make sure it didn't seem obvious that she likes the poor guy, she was pushing him to me..? Hahahahahahah. He's really good, and funny, yes he was. I don't really get the ending, but some of the jokes were really hilarious XD He got second after Kirat by the way.

And now presenting, the one and only..

Kirat! And that's her sarcastic face, complete with plain disgust XD

Proud of you, o Kirat the tall one X)

While waiting for the speakers from quarantine for their impromptu speech, the debaters of SIGS had one hell of a time camwhoring XDD

This would be Nicole, the cool and collective second speaker, Sherylee, our fierce and rebellious third speaker, and Najwa, the first speaker who's the creator of the Lucky Dance =)

The rocker, the fish-mouth and the pouter =D

And Kirat immediately joined the gang right after her impromptu XD

So there, the zone levels went something like that. And while walking back to Pn Thila's car, Najwa and I dumbly walked to the wrong car and was stupidly asking teacher why hasn't the car been unlocked yet when she already did =.=

District level pictures with Najwa, so till she uploads, or EVER uploads, this will be very empty indeed.

The second round was held in SMK Tasek Utara, anyway.

Extra note, we saw Crystal from the Perling debate team as the assistant mistress in ceremony! She was staring at us a lot and Najwa and I did a fair bit of staring too. She's really nice outside of debate matters, but in the arena, she's one fierce speaker. Please, even her first and second speakers, which both happened to be guys, were totally depending on her for points and rebuttals. We even called her Miss "POI, Ma'am" as a joke XD

And I can say one more thing, Aishah Hanis is a changed girl. How can she act like she doesn't recognize us at all? Sigh, people change, can't do much about it. Even her friend was smiling a lot at me while she was avoiding eye contact with me? This would be reality.

After that, Pn Thila really brought us out for teh tarik in this restaurant that sells authentic Southen, or Western Indian cuisine, whichever direction it is in India, but they are famous for this karipap-like kuih, which was real good =D And the tosei was humongous! Kept me filled for the whole night.

Pn Thila was actually worried I couldn't take spicy food and told me not to force myself if I didn't like it.

She IS talking to one of kids that goes hungry really quickly in school XDDD

And I am not that fussy. I can eat almost anything.

EXCEPT BEEF.

So be kind to inform me that anything unusual I'm about to eat served by yourself contains beef because I'm a loyal and strong Buddhist at heart, so please stop assuming that all Chinese can eat beef, I'm getting really annoyed at people who do, especially a certain someone who told me that dish had beef only after I ate it after I asked her countless times.

I made myself go vegan that day, and I'd never felt worse.

*****
The next test's next Monday, and I'm not even done studying anything yet.

So, more updates soon after that!

...

...

I hope.
