Christmas Break in Melaka-Day 3

Last report on this wonderful holiday. Sigh.

Left the hotel early. Oh well.

Some outstanding things at the hotel.

Looks interesting. Hehe.

Reading Corner. With hardly any read-able stuff. Har har.

Took this pic on my way out of the hotel. Lol.

Went to Jusco. Ate lunch there as well. Not bad. They renovated the whole place. Have no idea for how long already but it's nice anyway.

Snapshots galore..

The parking lot. What's with my obsession with parking lots nowadays? Lol..

This is no ordinary fountain. It's actually located in the toilet. First time I see a nice deco like this in a toilet. Somemore entah how long it's here already, since this is my first visit after a few years here...Lol..

Medan Selera. Cool.

My cousin would go bonkers over this. A shop with only,ONLY Powerpuff Girls merchandise. And adding that it's so pink. Haha.

Jusco. What else? Lol.

After all that it's back to JB for me. I'll miss Melaka lots. T-T

This driver of this car very berbudi bahasa you know..Lol..

The three towers. Sound like Lord of the Rings:The Two Towers only..Hehe.

Tol Ayer Keroh. It's officially goodbye Melaka.

End of day 3. I'm relieved. Lol.

Christmas Break in Melaka-Day 2

Whew. Back again. Can't connect to the Internet properly because of the earthquake that happened in Taiwan. God bless the earthquake victims,Internet users that can't go online and avid bloggers like me.

Better finish this entry quick before everything shuts down again.

So back to report on day 2. Woke up bright and early. Way earlier then my parents and my bro.

The view from the balcony window. The swimming pool's just opposite.

Went into Melaka Raya. Took some pics along the way.

This waterfall's amazing. Lol.

Look! "Pemimpin Berwawasan. Melaka Negeri Maju." And our PM's there. Great.

Tan Kim Hock. Nice pineapple tarts there too.

Kenderaan Orang Cacat Sahaja. And the people who park their cars in this very area all seem to be in one piece. Or I say they all think they are disabled,no?

Yippee.

The walls were repainted purple and yellow or some other colour but they repainted it the original red again, seeing that's the only way Melaka really looks like.

I meant to take a photo of a coffeeshop but this came into my shot instead. Sorry,uncle..

Some stalls.

A'Famosa. Awesome.

The two magnificent ships. There used to be a helicopter which my bro really liked but it was removed. Somehow.

I love bridal shops. Sudden obsession for it. Not really a shock as I passed by like, TEN bridal boutiques on a school day.

Restoran Ole Sayang. Can never,NEVER get tired of the food there. Delicious.

Some pictures inside. My hands were dying to take some pictures here, lol. And I'm very fascinated with that lantern.

More of Mahkota Parade after lunch. Sadly,I did return that beautiful black dress.

After more shopping, stuck in a jam. Right in the mall. And the car behind us making very melodious sounds at the back. The horns of his car was nice. Like he was going 'Mary had a little lamb, little lamb, etc.' with his horn. Really interesting guy. Hehe.

The temple I always pray at during my Chinese Year trips here.

Had dinner at Ayer Keroh. Can't take pics here. And a Hong Kong les drama was on. Ugh. They have bad taste in dramas.

A glimpse of my hotel room. Heh. The bed on the left's mine. And watched a very nice little musical. The Christmas Carol.

End of day 2.

Christmas Break in Melaka-Day 1

I'm back!

I had so much fun in Melaka. Even though I've been there like so many times already but every trip is so much more different and better then before.

So,going to split this entry into three. Here we go!

Started the journey at 7.20 instead of 7 which oto-san had tetapkan the day before. Oh well,we were never on time. =P

Reached Machap around 8.30. Boy,was it crowded. Very crowded.

Example of chaos.

Rain,rain,go away..At Machap.

More driving for oto-san and sleeping for me. Haha.

Reached Melaka around 10 or so. Went to reserve a room first at the hotel we're staying.

Ah. The name of the place we're staying. Paradise Malacca Village Resort.

A few snapshots of the place.

I've always been so fascinated by this fountain. And the canons next to it. Hee.

Very nice. Looks pretty new.

Santa with a sax! Amazing. My bro took this pic. Thanks ya =)

Donald and Lily's Corner. They sell great laksa and curry chicken rice. Can't forget the cendol too.

This place sells really yummy pineapple tarts.

After lunch, went to Pahlawan, the new shopping centre in Melaka. Ok,maybe not so new but I missed it on my last trip.

This fountain is way too meaningful. It has the history of our Independance Day in Malaysia.

Some shots outside Pahlawan. You can see the Stadhuys from here.

Back inside. There was a photo session with Santa. And he had a few helpers. Those in the reindeer outfits didn't look too happy. What I call tengah merajuk.

Some Christmas deco. Not too bad.

After that,it's off to Mahkota. And wow,did I do alot of shopping there. I practically bought all my Chinese New Year clothes at one shop alone. They sell really nice clothes. The kind I like. Almost GL(Gothic Lolita) like. Bought loads of manga and this pencilbox I've been eyeing on since I saw it in March during the MPO trip at Thai Kuang.

Mahkota Parade. I always love it here. ^^

Century Mahkota. This hotel's nice but it's really expensive nowadays.

Went back to the resort after all that shopping and walking.

The parking lot. Seriously,I have nothing else to do. Lol.

Major mistake I spotted! The gents at the lobby. The sign is practically upside down. And no upside down picture taking was used while shooting this photo. I'm so sending this picture to the Star paper. Hope I can get the 50 bucks.

The room we're staying at was so comfy. The condition is so much better then the trip at Negeri Sembilan. Don't want to talk about it. Room number was 6005.

Ah..Delicious dinner. Famous chicken rice balls. And the asam fish that goes with it.

After stuffing myself full,I straightaway went to try on my new clothes. To my dissapointment, my favourite dress couldn't fit me. I fell in love with that dress at first sight. And it only has one size. Free size. Damn.

The dress I'm so crazy about. Argh.

End of day 1.
