Anticipating 2010.

While my childhood friend since we're in diapers friend Teresa Tran is witnessing/had witnessed awesome fireworks in OZ, we Malaysians and Singaporeans have around an hour to the start of a new decade.

Summing up 2009 is going to be both easy and hard.

I started the year with being a fourth former, all geared up for the second last year of high school. Thinking that the drama of the previous years were over.

I couldn't be more wrong.

Turning 16 is bittersweet. Whoever invented the term sweet sixteen should just hang him/herself and mourn about him/her not having a life.

Okay, I didn't mean it in a literal way.

Drama still happened, and note that there's a lot of drama, not just one kind.

Still, it was drama that helped me look at my current life in a totally new perspective.

I thought of myself as an open-minded person, at least, more than a lot of people I know anyway.

Wrong again.

I learnt so much more by trying new things, interacting with new people, and giving more than taking instead.

And I found that there's more to life than being the competitive and overly paranoid brat that I was.

I gave up many of the activities I took up in school. I got into fights, arguments.

So what? The results from all that gave me more time to myself, my family, and my friends.

I got saner from there.

And the support from friends that I never really cared much about. Whom are now my entire life. Whoever messes with them, gets hurt by me. I mean what I say. (:

School during my recovery process of those suicidal thoughts was great. I never experienced school life like that before. Looking from their perspectives gave me a whole new light in life.

And there are friends who accept me for being different. They don't judge me, nor shun me for just being myself. God has really blessed me with awesome friends this year.

Let's not forget them awesome people from RYLA '08. My first sip of pink vodka thanks to Fio, dancing among bubbles to SexyBack, founding my LSP, and more awesome peeps that love me for who I am are just some of the greatness by knowing them awesome people. I didn't need to fake myself or conform to fit in. That, is also a great comfort.

Oh yeah, totally sucky grades are also a first for this year. ;)

And yes, I also got to know new friends from school activities. There was the Spelling Bee competition at Sunway College, and the Talkback Classroom interview in KL. I'm one lucky girl actually.

Then there's discovering the tuition mates - Khai, Pei Ling, Yaya, Yi Shian, MaoMao. Through Khai, I also got to know Biela, and of course, the dear Twin. :]

Also, I experienced a certain emotion called love.

I'm sure by the time I publish this, I would had missed something or someone out, but though you guys are not in this post, you guys are always a major part of my life.

2009 had brought the unexpected and the unpredictable.

And I had always suck at resolutions.

But for 2010, this blogger shall do her very best to:
★Get motivated for SPM 2010.
★Think a lot, before she acts.
★Be herself, and only herself.
★Hang out with the awesome friends more.
★In which after she had gained more freedom and trust from the parents.
★Take more pictures and videos of loved ones.
★Dedicate self into getting her license and stop getting paranoid over it.
★Get a couple more piercings.
★Get a totally new hairstyle.
★Smile when things seem bad.
★Count to ten before shooting verbal bullets at people.
★Stay strong (and alive), throughout her last year of high school.
★Meet up with Dee and Terri.
★Get a job and earn own allowance.
★Get a figure worthy of the bikini I bought last year.
★Enjoy the last year of high school to the max.
★Appreciate life as it already is.
★Retreat to music when things go bad.
★Finish up with Grade 7 and 8 for piano.
★More photography sessions that are fashion/art-based.
★Regain her drawing skills.
★Decide her future. Eventually.
★Love herself like how she love others.
But I have a warning for 2010.

ME.
;)

Bring it on, 2010!!
;D

Sincerest Condolences.

Death is something that's inevitable.
Tears are shed,
mourning is in progress.
In the solemnity of the procession,
loved ones that had crossed to the other side,
still feel as close as ever;
are remembered among the living.
-Death, ©missmasquer.-

This post is for Anna Sabrina and Najwa Hanee.

To Anna.
For a dear friend from precious childhood memories to cross over,
at this tender age.
For she who had fought the battle,
and had fought it well.
She did her very best,
and she'll always live in you.
She might be just smiling that smile you love so much,
what makes her what she was with that smile,
from the heavens above,
because she suffers no longer.

To Najwa.
You know you love your grandma,
despite you grumbling about the chores you had to do for her.
Her sudden departure was unexpected.
But she did live long to see her grandchildren grow up and slowly mature into womanhood.
I'm sure she was one proud woman,
having three capable and beautiful granddaughters,
from the inside and out.

To both Anna and Najwa.
Me as a friend,
I would be one ignorant person here.
Because I'm not either of you.
I didn't experience the loss both you guys had to endure.
With the people you love so dearly and place much importance in your lives.

But from your ignorant friend,
and although she's Buddhist,
and this may be offensive and I mean no offense,
but all I want to say is.

May Allah bless their souls.

To My Motherfcking Princess.

That's how I knew you.
You were the Motherfcking Princess then.
I admired the way you blogged and how you were true to yourself.
All these years, I respect how strong you are throughout the shit that's thrown to you.
I'm amazed when we found out that we had so much in common.
I'm honoured to have known you as a friend.
Because you had a role in making me into who I am of today.
I'm thankful for that.

But hey,
your Dramatic Tophatter will always regard you as her Motherfcking Princess.
Still the same, strong girl with spunk that I know of years before.

So you can definitely do it.
I want you to start the new year in an awesome manner.
And you have all the support you need from me,
and your personal psychologist here. (:
Contact me soon okay?
With good news I hope.

I love you Anti-Lala Partner.
*hugs*

Wednesday, 30th December 2009.

So because of Cafe World, I ended up delaying going to the movies and we nearly missed the 1.00PM screening of Muallaf.

It's really sad that whenever I watch a Yasmin movie, there's hardly anyone there. The theatre room is also always the smallest one they have, with the least seats. It's really depressing.

But at the same time, it's also amazing, 'cos it's most probably loyal Yasmin fans all in one small room. (:

There were so many empty seats, kor and I could even lean on the chairs in front of us. We were sitting at the very back row.

Muallaf was just awesome. And still is. Yasmin films always made me think a lot.

At least this time they didn't rudely stop the movie while the credits were still rolling. They did for Talentime.

We're the last to leave.
May you rest in peace Yasmin Ahmad.

I forgot to mention that I saw Kat there! She was with her mum, sister and her cousin Serah! OMG, I had not met Serah for two years, and she hardly changed! Except that she's prettier and stylish now though. :D

Finally kor brought me to Sushi King. :D The Golden Balls were really nice. I'm craving for more sushi now though. Haha!

And thank gawd kor suggested to get the tickets for Alvin and the Chipmunks 2 earlier when we bought the Muallaf tickets. The line was so long, I was sooo glad to just skip the hectic queue. (:

Compared to Muallaf earlier, we got a full house for the Chipmunks. That's normal I guess.

And the girls next to me were squealing with me throughout the movie. xD There's a good audience I guess. Everyone laughed at the funny bits, which is what makes watching movies at the cinema pretty awesome. :]

Somehow, this made me felt kind of uneasy and restless throughout the second movie.

I got a call from an unknown number.

I'm sorry if I sounded rude, but I get paranoid about unknown phone numbers. It's a thing with me since those childhood days.

I heard your voice for the first time, though we had yet to meet. It was nice talking to you, but at the same time, it was very painful too. Especially for you.

I would kick the dude in the balls, if I could. And mock him about it.

I'm really hoping everything turns out fine for you dearie. <3

Movie Marathon!

Muallaf.
In honour of the late Yasmin Ahmad,
they finally allowed this movie to be screened in local cinemas.
Please, Singapore had already premiered the movie last year.
And I know that Dee and Vee's friend Leysha and her sister are the leads in the movie.
Tissues - check.

Alvin and the Chipmunks 2: The Squeakquel.
I know that I spazz way too much every time I see these ah-dorable critters,
singing and dancing in their high-pitched voices!
It's just sooo cute!
It was only three chipmunks the last time,
now six?
Hoyeah!

And I'm watching both at Tebrau City later with the brother.
Cheers!

Touched by an Angel.

Sezairi Sezali.
I had always wanted Sezairi to win the third season of Singapore Idol.
And although I'm guilty of forgetting to watch the finals,
heck, I watched the result show okay?
At the very moment when Gurmit announced that Sezairi won Singapore Idol.
I was there, watching that moment - live.
On TV. =.=

And then there's all this debate about him being a lousy singer,
not deserving the title, and what not.
That Sylvia deserves it even more.

Sylvia Ratonel.
©Summerr.
Okay, I agreed before that we needed a female finalist,
and then a female Singapore Idol.
But I got over that.
Sylvia is very talented,
with superb vocals,
and she is what they say a zero to hero story,
yet she didn't win.
Votes aren't enough I suppose.
And I can't possibly vote 'cos I'm Malaysian,
and I don't have a Singapore line to vote.
Seriously.

Anyway, I found both of them to have amazing stage presence,
and both possess outstanding vocals.
But creative-wise,
Sezairi has my vote.

I just hope that Singaporeans and Malaysians who watched this season but just are being sore over the results can let the matter rest.
It's an expected human reaction,
but deal with it.
Other people voted.
So there.
Anyway, I'm sure that Sylvia will make it big in the Singapore music scene as well.
Nobody loses out except on the title.

But it's well done to the both of them to had made it this far. (:

Duane Ho.
©Summerr.
I was actually hoping he would get further in Singapore Idol.
Too bad he got voted off.
And before Charles too!
I was seriously miffed!
Still, he has a long way to go,
and I hope to hear news about his own original music one day! :]

And,
congrats to Sezairi once more! :D

Casper is Cute.

Nancy Drew #21: Warnings at Waverly Academy.
By far my favourite among the other Nancy Drew mysteries.
All because it's the least scariest.
Okay, that's only one of the reasons.
I really liked the storyline as well.
And the character development is freaking awesome!
The effects had certainly improved from the previous Nancy Drew games.
And, it's a girls' school thing.
I can totally relate. (:

Oh, if you're wondering who's Casper,
it's a very adorable squirrel in this game. ;)

Okay, I might be really stupid,

No worries,
I have one more very personal space,

It's not updated very often anyway,
so all of you aren't missing out on a lot. (:
but this is just to let you all figure out the many sides of me.

I'm nice that way.

Kawaii~!

So I got very addicted to the ad for Okto's December movies, who featured some of Japan's best.

Udon.
I only managed to watch the second half of the movie,
because I'd clean forgotten about watching it.
I guessed I managed to keep up with the storyline,
so overall it was okay.

Check It Out Yo!!
I loved the music for this movie.
I found the style of the music superbly familiar,
which I then saw was actually the work of Orange Range when the credits were rolling.
I love their stuff, it's very cheery! :D

Hula Girls.
I didn't know it was a true story till the end of the movie.
It's really great.
The choreography for the movie is damn shit awesome.
And the storyline is really touching.
Two thumbs up!

Swing Girls.
Oh gosh, I seriously heart jazz.
So the movie, especially the ending,
was a major boomz moment for me.
It's pretty funny too.
I know Jia Ying will agree with me. ;)

Nachos and Chachos, Cheese and Salsa.

Saturday, 26th December 2009.

So Jennifer's Body wasn't as awesome as I thought it would be. Major disappointment much!

But hanging out with Fio, Cai Ling, Rachel and Christina would be something I'm more than happy to do all over again. (:

I was fashionably late, because the 'rents somehow badly wanted me to have dinner with the family first.

In any case, thank gawd Fio kept her promise and everybody was waiting for me alone to watch the movie. Yikes, sorry y'all!

Anyway, Miss Rachel here actually said that my brother was cute and resembles a teddy bear. ZOMG. XD

Cai Ling and I both wore shorts, non-sleeved tops and had anklets on. Great minds think alike! She's my LSP, like duh that should happen without having to plan before that, okay? ;)

Thanks to Christina and Fio, I had a apparent green chocolate Easter egg! Which is not green anyway, but quoting Fio, "It's a weird weird aqua colour." Yay her. It's teal actually. x]

All of us went to visit Latte, Wally and Fio's eleven rabbits that were sooo freaking cute! Cai Ling, Christina and I were totally spazzing over the rabbits, while Rachel was totally keeping her cool, which is totally a Rachel thing. ;)

Fio said we could take two of them awfully adorable rabbits upstairs. Which is then questioned by Rachel, since we were all so busy talking, eating, and watching the movie, those two lil' rabbits were left alone in their cage. Oops much.

Oh gosh, Cai Ling has her totally bimbotic moments, I swear they can kill me from laughing too hard. XD Goodness, to the peeps that were there, remember how one of Fio's rabbits was styling its hair? Yes, I so did not type that wrongly. LOL much!

After spazzing at the rabbits, watching Cai Ling squeal and squish poor Wally's head (Wally's a goose by the way), and me being clumsy as usual, we brought Juno* and Lennox* in their own individual pails and released them into their cage. Fio, I still think the newspapers should be changed.

Okay, so as planned since I don't know when, we finally watched the movie, and I proudly spit my words I had taken back. It's seriously not scary. Gory, yes. To me, anyway. But scary? I don't know, it's like, everything is predictable.

I have to admit, Megan Fox was still hawt in the movie though. I'm still disappointed that her voice sounds very kiddy-like compared to some deep sexy voice I had always secretly hoped she had. Okay..not so secret now huh. Heh.

Some of the lines were stupidly lame and funny though. There were some other lines that are totally normal, but 'cos of the really bad subtitles, all of us ended up laughing anyway. (:

And yeah, as dear Chrissie Poo was underage, which I mentioned many times but wasn't really taken seriously till certain scenes in the movie, she didn't watch them. Good girl! All thanks to Rachel. :D

Did I mention that Rachel, other than being a chillax bodyguard, is also darn sweet? She fed me a strawberry when I wanted to try one. (:

Christina had to go back earlier though before the movie ended. :(

In any case, after the movie ended, certain scenes were rewatched thanks to Carolyn Teh Cai Ling who was happily zooming in and out of the screen during those particular scenes. I can laugh all over again just thinking about yesterday. XDD

In the end, all of us went to Fio's room and activites done in the room shall not be mentioned as to protect reputations and prevent embarassment and overquestioning. ;D

I have pictures though. Not many but, good enough. :D

This is Cai Ling and Fio.
What they were doing?
Only those in the room will know. x]

This is Cai Ling's sexy butt!
She and her butt had a history.
Refer to the picture of the Twister game during Fio's 18th. x]]

This is the cool but sweet Rachel!
She was having a headache because Fio sprayed some of her DKNY perfume on her in attempt to make Rachel girlier.
Too much for Rachel anyway. XDD

Heck, I wish I could had stayed longer. It was fun.

I did mentioned I was socially-deprived. Got some sanity back after yesterday night.

Ah, major thanks to these darlings who made my night. A pretty nice end to 2009, if I do say so myself. :]

*I have no idea whether the names of these two cute rabbits are spelled correctly, so in attempt to apply some of my PA knowledge here - K dan K di.K. Okay? ;)

Cheers!

Kitty + Pikachu = Major Cute Factor.

Major thanks Guppy!
Really appreciated the fact that you thought of me when you saw it.
And you even blogged about it when it wouldn't work out in Facebook.
It's a good thing I guess, since you need more updates! ;D

By the way,
you can't run away from the fact that we're part of the Cri du chat gang.
With Khai!
I think Jia Ying is eligible too. xD

I have this major craving for sushi at Sushi King for nearly two weeks now.

Kor, where's the sushi you promised me?
:D

It Was a Friday, Too.

It's Boxing Day already!

Christmas this year is pretty okay, considering the fact that my family personally do not celebrate Christmas.

Weird thing is, I like how joyous and united Christmas cheer seems to bring. But, I never really celebrated it with a bang. So, maybe after I graduate from high school. (:

One sad thing today was, I still had Biology tuition at Omega yesterday. It's a public holiday for gawd's sake!

Oh well, that's Omega for you. The only public holidays we get here is only during Chinese New Year. Thank gawd for that!

Another sad thing will be that NOBODY in my class wore red or green today. Hello, where's the Christmas spirit this year?

I guess it could be caused by the recession.

In any case, throughout the time I spent at Omega today, I only saw two people wearing red. One would be this random Chinese dude I passed by while heading up to Block B who was wearing completely red, and Jia Ying's brother! Sweet.

Oh yeah, Jia Ying had this absolutely ah-dorable Christmas hairclip! Gup looked absurdly cute with it. :P

Before heading to tuition, I watched Swing Girls with my brother. That movie is sooo awesome! The ending is ridiculously good!! Recommended for music lovers - especially jazz, if you hadn't watch this movie. Okto at 10PM tomorrow on Sunday. ;)

I'm FINALLY watching this tomorrow,
after planning this way earlier with Fio.
Cai Ling is going to be there too.
Wonder if anybody else could make it.
I know Najwa can't, since she's going on a holiday in Perak?

Heck, tomorrow is going to be really fun. It better be. :D

On a side note, my condolences to the family members and friends of the victims of the tsumani that happened a few years back.

God bless us all, both the living and those who had passed on.

Of Bronze Pots and Sore Knees - Day 3.

Wednesday, 23rd of December 2009.

Last day of lessons from Encik Nadzar, the master of bronze pots.

Went to school as usual and saw Min Wen and Xin Yun who were just about to enter the music room. And I thought I was late. Heh.

Practise went on as usual after we carried back the set that was brought to Naza Talyya Hotel the day before.

We took all morning just to finish learning Teratak Perpatih. And it's not just a long song, it's one complicating song too. Well, I guess we'll get the hang of it after more practise.

I was happy when I was the only one to get the parts played right once. :D

Then again, it's only because I play the sauwa which is comparatively easier than the gereteh, and I made notes of which goes first.

And because Ah Yuan didn't make it, I didn't get to record my Ris Low video with her. :( Oh well, she needs the practise anyway. ;D

Also, Najwa and May didn't come, which makes us drummer-less for that new and complicating song. Min Wen resorted to recording him play the gendang in hopes of showing it to Najwa and May when we have our next practise together. The whole process was really funny. x]

The only people to keep me sane then - Xin Yun and Min Wen. (:

So after sending Encik Nadzar and his wife off, and mind you, the wife is way better at playing caklempong compared to the juniors, we went to get lunch. I nearly got stuck in school to apparently watch the juniors but after commenting about this to the juniors, I got my way and followed Min Wen and Xin Yun to McD's for lunch. Well, to be exact, to get their lunches. Mumsie sent mine. (:

On the way to Plaza Pelangi, Puan Rozi wanted to get lunch as well so she got us to buy them for her and her family. Heck, she then asked us to buy eggs for her as well. That was honestly random. None of us expected that. xD

The moment we got off the car, it rained so darn heavily, we looked a sight running into Plaza Pelangi. Seriously.

Got the food, went back to school, and I ate more lunch. Thanks to Puan Rozi's and Xin Yun's fries. I have yet to knock that girl's head because knowing how much she wanted Twister fries, I gave one really curly one to her when I spotted it, but she instead took whatever Twister fry she could spot and had it for herself. She's mean I tell you. Hmmph.

How practise after lunch turned out. :]

Went on with practise, before going back home.

Ah, I miss those bronze pots already. After nearly going mad with the echoes of different people playing different parts at one time in one small music room.

Today was supposed to be polishing the bronze pots day, but I couldn't go. Had a dentist appointment, in which I half-suffered for. D:

By the way, congrats to Munnie and Kong Eve Lyne for getting straight A's. They needn't worry actually, they're smart and hardworking kids. Compared to me who purely depended on luck for my results. (:

And also to any of the juniors I know, it's not even the end yet.

It's just the beginning of what's really hell. ;)

Of Bronze Pots and Sore Knees - Day 2.

Tuesday, 22nd December 2009.

Day 2 and we'll all still pretty much alive. (:

Hung around with Xin Yun in the music room before Min Wen came. Then Najwa and Ah Yuan arrived. Some of the juniors came not long after too.

The juniors carried the instruments and yes, they should. It's part of growing up - naturally. ;)

The van was late because the driver was late, and we got a call from the master of bronze pots after about half an hour from the designated time saying that the driver just left to pick us up. Nice.

So a few of the juniors left with the instruments in the van while Puan Rozi headed there with the remaining kiddos. The seniors - Xin Yun, Min Wen, Ah Yuan, Najwa and myself will stay at school to wait for the van to make a second trip to fetch us to Naza Hotel.

Okay, so honestly, we were bored to death.

Okay, so maybe I was the one who was bored to death.

Therefore, taking pictures and a video, talking pure crap, moving along to the beats of songs courtesy of Najwa and just me whining how starved I was were some ways of passing time while waiting for the van to come for us.

This is Ah Yuan.

This is also Ah Yuan. :D

This is Puan Rozi coming over to then later tell me off on my madness.

Our madness. xDD

In case you have difficulty understanding the dialogue, or if you can't understand Chinese, please refer to my simple guide to understanding our madness here, and what I was thinking in my POV:

-start of video.-
Moi: *in Chinese* ..two, three!
(I was telling Ah Yuan I was taking a picture of her, instead I was taking a video.)
Ah Yuan: *starts playing the tambourine.*
Moi: Ah Yuan, look at the camera!
Ah Yuan: *looks*
Moi: Say hi!
Ah Yuan: Hiii!
Najwa: *laughs at Ah Yuan's retarded-ness*
Moi: Do you know you're on video?
Najwa to Ah Yuan: Like retarded like that.
Najwa: *continues commenting on Ah Yuan's retarded-ness*
Moi: *in Chinese* Come, Min Wen! Xin Yun! Say hi!
Xin Yun: Hi!
Min Wen: Hallo!
Moi: Yay~
(I was happy that I was getting a response from these people.)
Ah Yuan: Say hi la, you say hallo!
Moi: *in Chinese* This is teacher's car, and she's leaving soon!
Ah Yuan: Eh, they(Syazani and Shuhaila) follow teacher!
Moi: Yalor, we're going to be alone here. We're going to be alone here.
Min Wen: *in Chinese* Eh, you know what is this?
Moi: *iC* What?
(We all know. I'm just playing along.) ;D
Min Wen: *iC* This is what that Encik Nadzar uses to 'kok, kok, kok, kok' the caklempong.
Moi: Okay, Bhangra dance by Najwa and Ah Yuan.
Ah Yuan: *iC*Min Wen, faster!
Min Wen: *iC* What faster? *soons get it anyway.*
*dance and instruments start getting in sync.*

After awhile..
Moi: ..epic fail.
Moi: Okay la, no more memory already, say bye!
Najwa and Ah Yuan: Bye~!
Moi: *iC* Come, say bye!
Min Wen and Xin Yun: Byebye!
-end of video.-

After a hell lot of whining from me and five to six vans later, the great kak and abang are finally here to get us!

This is Xin Yun and Min Wen.

This is Ah Yuan who was caught in this candid just as she was about to laugh at something Min Wen did.
Najwa is right next to her.

The kak and abang. Abang is the one driving, while kak is in charge of us kids.

Random pair of kiddo slippers.

Made a stop at this hotel near Naza Talyya Hotel to drop the kak there, but the abang soon brought us to the hotel.

Saw Rozi, the wife of the master of bronze pots and some of the juniors that had already finished their breakfast. Jealous much!

But oh well, the staff had to wait for us to finish taking our share before they clear up everything for lunch.

I then whined some more because I regretted not taking a second helping before they cleared all the food up. I didn't know they were waiting for us. Dx

One of the staff was really funny. Said that she'll join us performing instead of working and perform some silat. Cool person. :]

After waiting for me to finish up, since I took the most food and time to finish eating, we all went up to the ballroom to settle the arrangement of the instruments. And suffer from the terrible humour of the two managers there. For gawd's sake, they were really lame. And they were hell good at it.

I know everyone will agree with me.

Some of our baju kurung on the rack. It was being pushed around by nearly all the staff who were in the ballroom.

The pretty pretty folded napkins.

Next, Rozi entrusted the key to Room 316 to the one and only responsible leader of the pack Xin Yun, and off we all go.

After us entering the room and acting all unsightly about it, according to Rozi, the senior gang went to see the swimming pool, and boy did we regret not bringing an extra set of clothes.

It's supposed to look nicer than this in real life, I swear.

I couldn't resist, there was such a hair-shampoo-ad kind of wind blowing my way. ;D

The mini bar next to the pools. Candid of Najwa here.
Went back to the room 'cos it started to rain.

This is Sze May.

This is our room number, with Min Wen's hand being an obstruction of sight to those inside. Room service please!

The seniors conquered the two single beds while the juniors were left sitting at the side. We watched 'The Yang Sisters' on Channel 5 and a lil' bit of 'The Best Bet' on Channel 8 before changing and then heading to the ballroom once more.

Min Wen then complimented me on how well I knew the TV schedules. XD

I did inform Ah Yuan beforehand that the picture quality is going to be super bad 'cos we had to zoom in.

Okay, so after performing, standing in heels for a long time and chomping on two huge helpings of spaghetti, which we later found out was beef and not chicken, it's back to the room and get our stuffs and enjoy our personal room for the last time.

Man, I really did liked that room.

We, the seniors later found out that the remaining juniors that stayed in the room during the performance were splashing water here and there in the bathroom and made a huge mess of the place. We just couldn't leave them alone for a moment.

Min Wen and me! I did tell her there's going to be more her than me. :D

I really really want this in my future room.
Sze May would agree. ;D
That's Min Wen there by the way.

The so-called romantic lights.
Very random picture. Heh.

I wanted a mirror picture,
but there was nobody to take it with me.
So here I am!

The two paintings here are..
fascinating.

We were fighting over the cute orange cushions and bolster.
I got it to myself for awhile. ;)

Finally we were asked to leave our room and on the way down to the first floor, we bumped into one of the lame guys that were in charge of the programme earlier.

He was being lame, as usual.

His lady friend apologised to us on how lame he was. The conversation went like this, and everybody in the lift could hear us:
Nice Lady Friend: Sorry yer, dia ni memang camni la.
Moi: Yeah, takpe. Kite dah memang tau dari tadi. Memang tak salah.
Nice Lady Friend: *laughs.*
Lame Dude: Hey! *shushes me.*
Moi: Hey, it was just the truth. All of us already know that.
Lame Dude: *makes faces at me.*
Moi: *walks out of lift, proudly.*
Moi to friends: *in good humour* I really couldn't stand him anymore. It's time he got a taste of his own medicine!
So here ends Day 2!

Will blog about today..tomorrow. Or rather, later maybe. xD

And just in case you all had forgotten how I looked like..

Cheers!

Of Bronze Pots and Sore Knees - Day 1.

I swear, it's THAT hard to wake up at 6.30AM in the morning after sleeping in during the holidays.

What's more, I have to wake up at 5.30AM when school starts again next year.

Most probably for the last year, too.

This certifies that I'm old.

Oh well, I'm always old - since I'm the granny of my class. Hey, it does earn me some much-deserved respect yo. More like I flaunt the need for people to respect me actually. :3

I didn't call myself granny in the first place!

Okay, I obviously digress.

So they finally decided to paint Block C with bright orange and yellow after four years of me studying in that block. And for next year, fifth formers study at Block D.

Ah, pure genius.

The colour is sooo tacky. It's what you get from government schools I guess. Like how my primary school is currently in a horrendous shade of pink and purple.

Goodness gracious, I wonder how the colour choices are made. Seriously.

Met up with Xin Yun and Min Wen first. Then May came.

Next, the master of bronze pots and his wife came with Rozi. Ah Yuan and Najwa were next.

The juniors came at random intervals, but hey, at least these faces I saw today made the effort to come.

I believe there's an entire gang of juniors that should be there, but just aren't.

I seriously wonder how is Rozi going to survive when our batch leaves. I'm not bragging, but seriously. I'm quite sure the rest of them will agree.

We learnt two and a half songs today - Merbau, Berandoi and Teratak Perpatih.

Merbau is really nice. The style is different from what we usually play. Berandoi is actually Berandol to us, and Puan Yew taught us that last year for music. Teratak Perpatih sounds like some hip-hop/rap thing to me. Something tells me it's going to sound awesome. (:

The master of bronze pots is really nice compared to the him when I was in Form 1. Oh my gawd, I nearly cried right there and then in school because of him scolding and criticising me non-stop. It's traumatic, really.

Lunchtime was freaking awesome today. It was nice just sitting there in a group, sharing our food and just laughing and talking.

I haven't experienced that in like, ages.

We have a performance tomorrow for the official opening of Naza Hotel. Rozi, we would really want the moolah as some pocket money and not spend it on the shirts. At least, I know we'll all pay when it's done, but I was just hoping you don't take the money from our pay. :(

And yes, red shirts tomorrow, as opposed to today's blue.

By the way, Ah Yuan aka my darling soon-to-be yellow-with-furs Pikachu dedicated this to us:

Blue skies and moving clouds. :]

Speaking of which, I wonder how Anna's client Aishah Jaafar did for her hockey match today. Saw the match going on when I passed by the stadium today. Mumsie thought I was half-mad cheering for my school in the car.

Hey, I am an SIGS-ian. And I guess I always will be.

Gosh, I'm suppose to be leaving these mushy words for after SPM 2010.

I remember saying how much I yearned for freedom with college life and living by my own, but now I'm changing my mind about it.

I am sooo not ready for college life.

Now, off to bed for another hectic day tomorrow. I'm exhausted. Literally.

Cheers!
