Today started off pretty well, since everybody overslept for the scheduled morning jog, hahah.

Woke up pretty late. I intend to get to school by 9.30 to help out and stuff, but it seems as the juniors did a good job of doing all that while I reached at 10 sharp.

I was actually welcomed by these juniors right at the main gate of school. If they read my blog, they should know who they are, but only Fatin Sakura here wished me Happy New Year. Random, but she left an impression there (:

Right after I stepped into the school compound, a very familiar, no, too familiar voice called for my name, and that's when I saw Rozi waving at me madly with me reacting by covering my ears and yelling out loud, "YES TEACHER!" She never fails to make me do the silliest and craziest things. I love Rozi ;)

But she just had to make me feel all the better / worse, depending on how you see the situation, by telling me that she's very proud of me, said her congrats, and told me I got straight A's.

Now people, I'm not trying to gloat, for whoever in the world would expect that this will be the first thing a teacher tells you when all you wanted was just to chill with your friends to try to rid of the nervousness?

So I politely replied that I thought she was purely joking to make me feel better, or she might had overlooked a little bit.

Then she just shushed me, and said not to tell anyone that she already told me my results beforehand!

Rozi is just SO CUTE at times! xD

Met up with May, Veena and Evonne not long after with Jia Ying, Farah and the rest of the band girls. Then saw Najwa looking all angelic for the first time since the hols started :P

Saw Aida, Nadee, Jasmine, Ezyan Nazura and Anith outside the hall. Wished them all luck except for Atherah. Note that we can never get along, for I'd tried, but since she still refuses to acknowledge my presence, what the heck, I can get on with life all fine without her x]

Then talked to Guppy for awhile and asked her about India. Goodness, and I can dumbly tell her that India is hot all year round, when it's actually winter there. And Guppy gave me a really nice keychain of the Taj Mahal! Thanks lots! =)

Said hi to Irene, Pei Li and Izzati, wished them lucks. They looked really cool about the whole thing. Heh.

So Veena, Najwa, Evonne, May and I sat in a circle right outside the hall while waiting to be called in. Saw Cassan with her really nice hair! And we screamed so many times I seriously lost count, just 'cos Miss Nav told us she saw our results already, so we literally freaked till all the parents and the rest of the third formers were looking at us. Oops? Nah! Hahah.

Then we had Puan Kartini and Cik Fazlinda and also Encik Rahilme talking to us for awhile. En Rahilme is a plain old meanie though =P

Finally saw Lyn-jie walk in. Was I glad! May was freaking out and I was hoping she would come sooner to make her chill for a lil'. Lol.

And we waited..

..and waited..

..and waited..

..for the effing results to be announced already!

But meanwhile, Najwa and I had our fair share of talking, and we saw Min Wen, Izreen, Adlina, Kamalia, Daeng, Farha, Farahin and Ezzati! Also saw Naomi at long last! :D

And then, Miss Low got a huge welcome from the third formers. Hahah.

Apparently, the LCD screen was problematic, so all we could see was a Powerpoint Presentation with sepia effects. Who cares anyway! All of us were secretly happy about it xD

I don't have to mention anymore what happened after this, do I? :]

All I can add in about this part was that there was crying, screaming, hugging, jumping around, dancing, praying, and crushing our results' slips involved.

With Lynnie the Meanie almost taking mine away from me, when Rina darling called from Labuan!

It was ecstatic. I swear.

Too much hoohah going around.

But in any case, I owe Lynnie the Meanie who's also very nice actually a meal, which I don't know when, but hopefully before she flies to Aussie =(

Went for a photo session with the rest of the la gente who got straight A's, congrats to y'all! I swear my mouth was numb from smiling and showing off too much teeth. Pictures are all with Najwa and Veena, if I shall ever get them that is. Heheh.

Collected the certs at long last with Rozi acting all cute and ah-dorable once more, telling the new teacher next to her my name, when she already knows it. Eheh.

And also for teaching me the method to write BM essays all the way back in Form 1, since I literally sucked at the subject since primary school. Therefore, congrats once more to those who had gotten straight A's and those who are happy with whatever results they got!

And to those who aren't, fret not. SPM is the real deal. And as I told some of my friends, it isn't because you can't get the ideal results, it's just purely 'cos the machines that scanned the OMR papers were faulty that time, or the examiners were just sleepy or moody when he or she marked your essays. It's not the end of the world, and whatever happens, I wish you guys all the best with everything you guys are choosing to do after this.

Especially to Roy, lucks with the transfer to SSI.

And I just realized that I'd actually got an award from her with the "Best Blog."

It’s not an English name I came up with for myself. My mother is indeed a genius in coming up with such a splendid name for me. Although my name has been unfortunately mutilated (nicknames are excluded) over the past years, full credits to my mum for my current identity.

Ironic, I know; this blog is mainly pink instead. I like all colours actually, but I find myself having an affinity to the colour green. In fact, I can safely say that green is my soul colour.

Languages, music, fashion, photography, cultures, dance, literature, writing; just about anything, really. The arts truly intrigue me, especially thought-provoking pieces. Of course, the arts play a major role in inspiring me in my everyday life.

I don’t have a favourite genre – I read any book that interests me!

I am a trained right-hander from young, since apparently being left-handed is considered ‘wrong’. Basically, I’m ambidextrous! No wonder I find it easier to air guitar using my left hand than my right; I simply relate to the arts than subjects that deal with logical thinking better, too.

A stubborn Bull I am, too. I abhor being rushed. I prefer doing matters at my own reasonable pace. I don’t particularly like changes in my routine, but I can adapt quite easily. I’m a very practical person as well. I enjoy the beautiful things in life, but that doesn’t make me shun ugliness at all. Besides, it all depends on how one perceives beauty. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder!

Still am, but I’m slowly learning to accept imperfection into my life. Also, I’m doing my best to erase the many expectations I have so I could one day master the art of letting go and freeing myself to simple happiness and joy.

Compared to before, I’m less dramatic nowadays. Language-wise, I attempt to blog flawlessly in English and speak proper English online with my peers. Call me a Grammar Nazi all you want, but that’s how I roll. I only converse in perfect English in formal situations and during my dramatic outbursts. Otherwise, I’m absolutely capable of communicating like the average Malaysian!

It’s a different issue altogether when you’re forced to learn for the sake of getting good grades, though. Other than that, I’m open to new information and knowledge anytime! I especially would like to learn more languages and pick up new musical instruments.

…are just some of the things I would love to do in the near future, hopefully!
