Christmas Break in Melaka-Day 1

I'm back!

I had so much fun in Melaka. Even though I've been there like so many times already but every trip is so much more different and better then before.

So,going to split this entry into three. Here we go!

Started the journey at 7.20 instead of 7 which oto-san had tetapkan the day before. Oh well,we were never on time. =P

Reached Machap around 8.30. Boy,was it crowded. Very crowded.

Example of chaos.

Rain,rain,go away..At Machap.

More driving for oto-san and sleeping for me. Haha.

Reached Melaka around 10 or so. Went to reserve a room first at the hotel we're staying.

Ah. The name of the place we're staying. Paradise Malacca Village Resort.

A few snapshots of the place.

I've always been so fascinated by this fountain. And the canons next to it. Hee.

Very nice. Looks pretty new.

Santa with a sax! Amazing. My bro took this pic. Thanks ya =)

Donald and Lily's Corner. They sell great laksa and curry chicken rice. Can't forget the cendol too.

This place sells really yummy pineapple tarts.

After lunch, went to Pahlawan, the new shopping centre in Melaka. Ok,maybe not so new but I missed it on my last trip.

This fountain is way too meaningful. It has the history of our Independance Day in Malaysia.

Some shots outside Pahlawan. You can see the Stadhuys from here.

Back inside. There was a photo session with Santa. And he had a few helpers. Those in the reindeer outfits didn't look too happy. What I call tengah merajuk.

Some Christmas deco. Not too bad.

After that,it's off to Mahkota. And wow,did I do alot of shopping there. I practically bought all my Chinese New Year clothes at one shop alone. They sell really nice clothes. The kind I like. Almost GL(Gothic Lolita) like. Bought loads of manga and this pencilbox I've been eyeing on since I saw it in March during the MPO trip at Thai Kuang.

Mahkota Parade. I always love it here. ^^

Century Mahkota. This hotel's nice but it's really expensive nowadays.

Went back to the resort after all that shopping and walking.

The parking lot. Seriously,I have nothing else to do. Lol.

Major mistake I spotted! The gents at the lobby. The sign is practically upside down. And no upside down picture taking was used while shooting this photo. I'm so sending this picture to the Star paper. Hope I can get the 50 bucks.

The room we're staying at was so comfy. The condition is so much better then the trip at Negeri Sembilan. Don't want to talk about it. Room number was 6005.

Ah..Delicious dinner. Famous chicken rice balls. And the asam fish that goes with it.

After stuffing myself full,I straightaway went to try on my new clothes. To my dissapointment, my favourite dress couldn't fit me. I fell in love with that dress at first sight. And it only has one size. Free size. Damn.

The dress I'm so crazy about. Argh.

End of day 1.
